Open Connectivity

Connecting the World

Open Connectivity (OC) is a solution for next generation roaming and interworking.

The GSMA’s OC initiative has established a framework for hub-based solutions, where one or more hubs provide access to multiple partners via a single commercial agreement. It is a crucial issue to roaming hubbing providers to safeguard service availability and service quality once a new network operator is connected to the roaming hub.

GSMA has clearly identified the requirements that vendors must support to be compliant with its SMS Hubbing, Roaming Hubbing and Global Roaming Quality solutions, making it easier for operators to identify and select the vendors that meet their needs.

Open Connectivity consists of three solutions:

  • SMS Hubbing
  • Roaming Hubbing
  • Global Roaming Quality (GRQ)

With Keynote SIGOS, roaming hubbing providers can rely on a well experienced GRQ certified vendor.
Keynote SIGOS was one of the initial expert members of the GRQ group, contributing significantly to setting up the now universally accepted GRQ standards.
