Keynote SIGOS User Conference 2010, Nuremberg

This year the User Conference attracted over 130 attendees of 65 companies from almost 50 countries all over the world - a truly international audience! The conference started on Sunday, July 11th with our traditional Joint Dinner followed by the opportunity to watch the soccer world cup final on large screen.

During the following two days, the comprehensive and well-balanced program included presentations and speeches given not only by Keynote SIGOS experts but also by guest speakers from Deutsche Telekom AG, GSM Association, Maroc Telecom, Telefónica o2 Germany and Telekom Deutschland GmbH.

Well received part of the User Conference again were interactive workshop sessions in smaller groups. Most of them also included life demonstrations showing experiences and most efficient ways of Keynote SIGOS tools usage.

The latest developments of SITE & GlobalRoamer were introduced, use cases discussed, experiences shared and FAQs answered. The company´s strategy in the future was presented and included an outlook on new technical solutions. At the same time the new hardware generation was presented in an exhibition and workshop.

Guest speakers informed about a variety of topics such as NGN Operations Business Requirements and Standardization 4G, Drive Service Testing, Carrier Testing, Root Cause Analysis, Interconnect Quality Management, Billing Shock and Mobile TV.

Despite the tight schedule attendees had the opportunity to participate in several organised guided tours and social program options. On Wednesday, July 13th the Keynote SIGOS User Conference was wrapped up with a closing dinner event at historic restaurant “Bäckerhof”, where there was also the chance to taste the famous sausages of Nuremberg.
